"Star Wars: Battlefront II" is a first-person shooter set in the "Star Wars" universe. In this title, two teams of players will face off on levels inspired by the "Star Wars" series of films. The goal of each map depends on the gameplay mode selected. In Conquest mode, you'll take and hold positions on the map to gain points, and the team with the highest total of points wins. In Capture the Flag, your goal is to capture a flag from the enemy base and secure it at your base. "Star Wars: Battlefront II" features 24 maps from both the "Star Wars" prequel films and the original trilogy.
The Force is Strong With This One
In each battle in "Star Wars: Battlefront II," players will take on the roles of stormtroopers, rebel soldiers, battle droids, and more. The teams you can choose depend on the map you're playing. For example, the Hoth level will let you play as the Empire or the Rebel Alliance while the Geonosis level lets you play as either the Republic or the droid army. At various points in the game, players can assume the role of a powerful Hero character, such as Luke Skywalker or Darth Vader. There are also numerous vehicles to pilot, including both land and air vehicles. All the character classes, weapons, and heroes are pulled directly from the Star Wars universe.
In addition to online multiplayer game modes, "Star Wars: Battlefront II" has an array of single player modes. The Galactic Conquest lets you take over the galaxy while the Campaign mode allows you to relive events from the "Star Wars" movies.
